Maya Terragen Connection or MATG Conn is a collection of MEL scripts which enable a user to export animation data from Maya to Terragen v1 as a tgs script. This tgs script can then be used to render the animation sequence from Terragen.
The scripts were created for version 1 of Terragen as in v1 there was very limited animation support in Terragen. MATG can export Maya Camera, Clouds and Sun animation to Terragen. It also help with basic scene setup in Maya while importing Terrain meshes exported from Terragen.

I am going to use MATG tonight (GMT-5:00) to import terragen cloud animation into Maya.
I did notice “// Error: Wrong number of arguments” when I started MATG in Maya but I believe this is due to a minor MEL issue on my part.
I will keep you posted on my progress Amit!
Thank you again,
